A Slice of Summer Holiday Festival on Hvar

A Slice of Festival, a festival of silent films and other sensory delights will be held in Vrisnik at the Church of St. Anthony the Abbot over two evenings in July 2023. Entrance on both evenings is free of charge.

1. Friday 7th July 2023.

21:00 And the Oscar goes to… Film recording the Oscar prize-giving ceremony.

Short Film Show, “Surrogate” (1961), animated film lasting 9 minutes 20 seconds, directed by Dušan Vukotić, with original music sound-track.

21:10 Children and a pantomime artist will blow up balloons, toss them and burst them, with musical accompaniment by singer Melita Lovričević, reflecting the start of “Surrogate”.
