Jelsa’s nautical prestige!

The Jelsa Municipality has recently featured in a programme titled “Wind Masters Croatia” on the world’s most prestigious TV channel for sailors and everyone who loves seafaring and water sports. The programme, available in four languages, can be seen on the Nautical Channel in over 120 countries, covering every continent and potentially reaching 500 million viewers.

The Nautical Channel, continues to present and promote the tourist attractions and beauty of Croatia with this new serial, “Wind Masters Croatia”, which follows on from five seasons of the series “Sail-ho! Croatia”. The new programme was produced in the summer of 2022 by the Zagreb production company Amali Doare, and consists of ten half-hour episodes showing the most interesting and attractive destinations along nine nautical routes on the Croatian coast, from Dubrovnik to Istria. Viewers are introduced to the towns, resorts and hidden pearls which they can see in person when they visit Croatia. In addition, each episode is accompanied by an account of the basics of sailing, to help even the least experienced sailors increase their enjoyment of sailing the Adriatic.
