Photogenic Jelsa

The world is full of beautiful places – both natural and man-made. Nevertheless, even the greatest travel addicts can hardly visit them all. Some places are more camera-friendly than others, and among them one should certainly include the Island of Hvar, with its picturesque places like Jelsa and Vrboska, its exquisite bays and breathtaking scenery.

The coastal ambiance and wonderful Dalmatian scenery will enliven your photos like a postcard full of playful delight when they make the rounds of the virtual world. The enchanting alleys of Jelsa and Vrboska, the delightful stone houses in the island’s historic villages, the endless panoramas from the southern and eastern bays, the silver-green olive groves, the vineyards and the lavender fields, the clean, clear sea… These all make up the scenery that inspires every photography enthusiast.

Whether the eye and mind are attracted by big things, like the outline of the Church or the beauty of the waterfront, or by small details, like cobblestones in an alleyway, carved stone decorations on historic buildings, birds, or tiny flowers peeping up in unexpected places, you will certainly find a host of beautiful, interesting sights to photograph. They will be images you will cherish for a lifetime!

By using the hashtag #visitjelsa not only will we follow you on your dream vacation, but you will also find many more interesting landscapes, places and motifs.
