The Field School of Hvar
The Field School of Hvar is a slow travel program for remote-worker families. It includes accommodation, full-time childcare, and community activities. Enrollment is by the month or season, beginning Sunday, June 9 and ending on Saturday, August 3.
A pioneering concept, The Field School brings participating families together in a newly renovated villa, located in the historic core of Stari Grad, one of the oldest and most charming port cities in Europe. Each family has a fully equipped, tastefully decorated apartment, while sharing private coworking, a communal kitchen, and a rooftop “aperitivo” terrace with other families.
For children aged two through twelve, the Field School offers a world-class developmental environment, focused on nurturing kids’ natural desire to learn through daily fieldtrips, hands-on workshops, labs, storytelling, and studio art instruction. Every day includes a locally-sourced, plant-based meal and two snacks.
Finally, the community program at the Field School centers on local artisans and small businesses, nurturing a lifestyle of wellness, conviviality, and mindfulness. We invite you to learn more at FieldSchoolHvar.org.
