The “Gospodar” Family Farm

“Gospodar” is a family-owned agricultural estate in the little village of Poljica on the island of Hvar. The name of the estate, which can be translated as ‘lord’, ‘boss’ or ‘master’ in English, is the family nickname of its owner, who, with love and dedication, ensures that every product is made in a traditional way. The owner is a devoted olive grower and winemaker, cultivating everything with special care in order to preserve the values and customs of his ancestors. All the produce of the land is transformed into high-quality homemade products reflecting the hard work, love, and respect for nature which go into their formation.
