‘Tirkiz’ Beach-bar

The ‘Tirkiz’ Beach-bar opened its doors in mid-June 2020 and gradually became an unavoidable location for locals and tourists of the Municipality of Jelsa, but also the surrounding area.

The idea of opening a beach bar was created two years ago when the owner of the bar, Denis Carić, realized that Jelsa lacks quality content on the beaches. Today, two years later, tourists have found their ideal place to relax.

In collaboration with the architectural office “Morpharos”, which specializes in Mediterranean architecture, they created a summer oasis just a step from the sea. The wooden structure, which offers a view of the sunrise and the beautiful turquoise sea, fits perfectly into the romantic surroundings of the bay and the beach “Fontana”. The concept of the bar was created in a way to meet the needs of almost every guest.

“We wanted to create a lounge bar where guests can enjoy top service at affordable prices. We are especially proud of the wide selection of cocktails and gin “, Carić told us. It is interesting that the music is adapted to the time of day, so in the morning you can expect infectious notes of jazz, while in the afternoon you can listen to house music. Beach-bar Tirkiz also offers performances by DJs several times a week, who mostly play lounge music in the afternoon, suitable for this relaxing summer hit destination.
