Get to know the secret life of Hvar island wild plants in a unique botanical garden divided into 6 different sections
Fjori fôra plant oasis spreads over a plot of 2500 m² and offers numerous facts about the wild flora of the island of Hvar. Over 80 different plant species are sorted through the basins using the principle of asymmetric arrangement of symmetrical shapes projects the surrounding wilderness and the influence of man in cultivating it. Cultivation of wildlife, as we like to call it, was a long process of transferring seeds, cuttings and adult wild plants from different parts of the island of Hvar to flower beds adorning six basins.
Each field and each plant tell their own story.

Discover the Hvar flora from field to plate. In a guided tasting tour through Herbal plates and walking tour around the garden, learn to recognize individual island plants and discover how they can be processed to please our senses – and help our health.
