If you head to the southern shore of the island, the old tunnel will take you to small town of Zavala, where our small family tavern is waiting for you. It is a place that resembles the warmth of home and evokes unforgettable smells and tastes.

Tavern Zavala is intended for all lovers of local products and traditions. Taste our carefully prepared Dalmatian specialties and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere away from the summer rush.

Our specialties are, most certainly, traditional dishes prepared in the baking bell; meat or fish, we leave for you to choose. One of the specialties that everyone asks for is a true delicacy – octopus prepared in the baking lid. We advise you to book in advance since it takes longer to cook.

We also offer numerous meat and seafood dishes prepared on grill which leaves them with a special taste. There is also a variety of pasta, risotto, delicious homemade gnocchi, and of course healthy, homegrown vegetables from our organic garden.

With each meal we recommend a good glass of autochthonous Hvar wines which we have in offer. A beautiful view of the blue sea from out terrace will be stuck in your memory.
