The ‘Ventus’ Winery

This winery was founded as a partnership in 2019 in the village of Vrisnik, which is in the heart of Hvar Island. Our motto is “together we are stronger”, as individuals we had been making wine for years under the banner of our family farming firms. Our vineyards stretch along the south side of Hvar Island near the villages of Sveta Nedjelja and Ivan Dolac i Sveta Nedjelja, and on the north side of the island near Vrisnik. Our centre for production and marketing our organically certified wines is based in Vrisnik, where we offer wine tastings with traditional Dalmatian side dishes of cheese, dired ham (like prosciutto), salted fish, dry cakes and more.
