
1st JELSA UGORIJADA
CONGER EEL STEW COMPETITION
June 8th from 6:00 PM in the Park in Jelsa
As part of the WO&H Festival, we invite you to the first edition of a unique culinary challenge – the Jelsa Ugorijada!
Participants will compete to prepare the best brujet (traditional stew) made from conger eel. The organizers will provide all the basic ingredients, burners, and preparation tables. Each participant may also bring up to 3 additional ingredients of their choice to give their dish a personal touch.
Participants should bring:
- A cooking pot
- A presentation plate
- A ladle
- Their own cooking and serving equipment
Judging:
Dishes will be evaluated by a professional jury through a blind tasting – plates will be numbered with no indication of the cook’s identity.
