The 4th Hvar Climbing Festival

If you love climbing, get ready for an experience you will never forget! We are delighted to invite you to the Climbing Festival in the exquisite localities of Vela Stiniva, Pokrivenik and Lučišće. This is a wonderful opportunity to get together with other enthusiasts and test your climbing skills on some of Croatia’s most impressive rock faces. You will be rewarded with unbelievable views and fantastic natural beauty. Our experienced guides will help you to enjoy safely every delight on offer in this festival.

Climbing on Hvar – A Guide to the joys of Hvar’s climbing locations and the special climbing festivals on offer

Climbing marathon in Vela Stiniva, one of the best climbing areas in the world. The rockface in Stiniva is next to the beach, so you can cool your muscles in the crystal clear Adriatic Sea in between climbs.

Lučišća is a tufa paradise recently bolted and still mostly unclimbed. Routes start from 5c, but most of them are in the F7a-F9b level. Many king lines are waiting for the first ascent, including the megat line of the island, a 60m monster approximated at 9b+. Come there to climb and support the first ascensionists!

Free climbing, deep water soloing or multi pitch climbing. This day is up to you. But we do provide a free shuttle bus to another area by the sea, the lovely Pokrivenik. As in Vela Stiniva, here you can also mix the beach with your ascents, rocks and sea are only a few meters apart.
