Children’s Festival Jelsa
The Children’s Festival Jelsa, better known as “Dječji val” (Children’s Wave), is returning to Jelsa. Organized by the Jelsa Tourist Board and the publishing house Ibis grafika, the festival was originally conceived as a weekend event for children but has grown into a six-day celebration filled with a diverse and rich program for children of all ages.
Jelsa will soon once again become a place of children’s joy, play, and creativity through the Children’s Festival—an event dedicated to the youngest visitors, their imagination, and spending time together. During the festival, visitors can expect a variety of activities designed for children and families, with most of the program taking place in the central area of the park in Jelsa, in a relaxed and green atmosphere ideal for enjoying time outdoors.
The festival program offers a wide range of activities such as creative workshops, a book fair, film screenings, and many other events that encourage play, learning, and fun. Children will have the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops, explore the world of books and stories, and enjoy movie screenings adapted to their age.
The Children’s Festival is envisioned as a place of meeting, creation, and inspiration, where children’s curiosity and a sense of togetherness are encouraged through play and creativity. We invite all young and older visitors to join us and spend pleasant moments filled with laughter, learning, and fun in the heart of Jelsa.
We invite everyone interested to carefully explore the festival program and join the Children’s Wave in Jelsa. Get ready for unforgettable moments, laughter, and learning, because the Children’s Festival Jelsa brings something special for everyone!
