St. Peter’s Feast Day

Zavala’s patron saint is St. Peter, whose Feast Day falls in springtime on April 29th, when the village’s inhabitants are especially well-disposed for celebrations! Morning mass is con-celebrated in the new parish church, which is dedicated to St. Nicholas and St. Leopold Mandible, with music and dancing following later on in the day through to the early hours.
