Exhibition: “Towns Under The Town”

In the extensive archaeological excavations carried out between 2021 and 2022 in Stari Grad’s streets and squares, there were daily discoveries of dense underlying layers revealing the lives in the previous towns which grew up and then fell into decay.

With this exhibition of photographs by Vilma Matulić, restorer at the Stari Grad Museum, is an invitation to take part in this journey into the deep recesses of Stari Grad’s past.

The exhibition is on display during the Stari Grad library’s normal working hours from November 4th to December 4th 2022.
