Exhibition: ‘Sea and Land’ by Nada Hunski

Nada Hunskiis exhibition ‘Sea and Land’ (“More i Zemlja”) will open on Friday 22nd July 2022. in Jelsa’s Rowing Club

It will run until Sunday 7th August 2022, and can be viewed every day from 19 – 22h.

In the artist’s words: “The title ‘Land and Sea’ is the expression of my deep connection with Dalmatia, especially Jelsa, with its enchanting sea and proud natural beauty. This is my spiritual home. My roots are Croatian and through painting I connect with Croatia’s nature. My pictures are an expression of my emotions and the joy I derive from colours. These are the source of each painting. The subject develops during the work process. Colours and colour tones are extremely important to me. They essentially express and arouse emotions. I am an interior architect by profession, and have been painting for many years. I have combined creativity and the phenomenon of space into my art. This exhibition is my first in Croatia.

I would like to express my happiness and great gratitude to the Jelsa Rowing Club, which has wholeheartedly and generously made my exhibition possible in this wonderful space. I also give my heartfelt thanks to Marija Marijan, Director of the Jelsa Tourist Board, and her team for their kind and professional support.” Nada Hunski
