Meeting of Island Folklore

The Meeting of Island Folklore is a cultural event that brings together folklore groups from Croatian islands with the aim of preserving and presenting their rich traditional heritage.

Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy performances by folklore ensembles who, through dance, song, and traditional costumes, will showcase the customs and cultural heritage of their communities. The program offers a diverse presentation of island folklore traditions and provides an opportunity for participants and the audience to meet and exchange cultural experiences.

This event contributes to the preservation of intangible cultural heritage and further enriches the cultural life of the town during September.

The event is organized by KUD Jelsa and the Jelsa Municipality Tourist Board.
