Promenade Concert by the Starigrad Steel Band

The Croatian Steel Band was formed way back in 1876, and we are proud to say it has functioned uninterruptedly for 140 years.

The first steel band association in Stari Grad was founded under the name of Banda Cittadina (Town Band). Its 1876 Statute is testimony that it was the first organized citizens’ ensemble on Hvar Island.

In honour of the Day of Victory and National Thanksgiving, August 5th 2023, the Stari Grad Steel Band will be performing on the waterfront in Jelsa from 19:00.
