The scientific symposium “Anatomy of the Island” is a three-day gathering dedicated to the research, understanding, and valorization of island spaces.
The symposium will bring together scientists, experts, and researchers from various fields who will, through lectures, discussions, and professional presentations, reflect on different aspects of island life – from natural and spatial characteristics, to social and cultural topics, as well as issues of sustainable development and the future of islands.
The aim of the symposium is to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue and the exchange of knowledge and experiences about the specific characteristics of island communities, with a special emphasis on their heritage, identity, and development challenges.
