St. James’ Feast Day

Annual feast days in honour of the local patron saint are a tradition in every Dalmatian settlement, big or small. In Pitve, the special date is July 25th. There is one unwritten rule governing feast days: ‘invitations not needed’. Everyone who wishes to is welcome to join in.
