Wine, Olive & Heritage Festival
On June 21 and 22, the Wine, Olive & Heritage Festival will take place in the town park in Jelsa—an atmospheric festival celebrating the rich wine, gastronomic, and cultural heritage of the island of Hvar.
During the two-day program, visitors will have the opportunity to meet local wine and olive oil producers, taste their products, and take part in interesting and creative workshops. The program will include a Wine & Art workshop, as well as a ceramic painting workshop, intended for anyone who wants to combine art, socializing, and the flavors of the island.
A special gastronomic experience will be prepared by a renowned local chef, who will live-cook one of the most famous traditional dishes of the island of Hvar – Hvar’s gregada.
The festival will also feature a music program, and visitors will be able to view an exhibition of works by students from an agro-tourism program, who present the tradition and future of the island’s agriculture and tourism through their work.
We invite all lovers of wine, olive oil, gastronomy, and culture to join us in the unique setting of the park in Jelsa and celebrate the rich heritage of the island of Hvar together.
