Apartman Ruža, Zavala

Our super comfortable apartment is situated in the small, peaceful fishing village of Zavala on the south side of Hvar Island. The accommodation consists of two bedrooms, a kitchen-diner, bathroom, corridor and a large terrace with a magnificent sea view. It is fully equipped (wi-fi, air-conditioning, satellite TV, washing machine, cooker on gas and electricity, fridge-freezer, microwave cooker.) Car parking is available in an enclosed courtyard. We only rent out one apartment, so that our guests have full privacy on a separate floor from our family’s living area. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden full of flowers and local Mediterranean plants.

The terrace of the Apartman Ruža offers stunning views over the little Island of Šćedro opposite Zavala, and beyond to the Island of Korčula, the Pelješac Peninsula and the open sea. Being surrounded by many different types of Mediterranean plants, it is an ideal place for relaxing while enjoying the colours and aromas of the Mediterranean. Zavala is heaven for body and soul: you can replenish your energies to the full here.

Nearby there is Zavala’s newly built little church, a small grocery shop and several restaurants, so the basic needs of our guests are easily met.

There are lots of secluded little coves and shingle beaches which provide peace and a complete break from the hustle-bustle of modern daily life. The different parts of Zavala are joined up by a long seaside path, which offers guests the perfect opportunity for a relaxed walk by the sea at any time of day.
