KONOBA HUMAC
The small settlement of Humac is a unique example of preserved rural architecture, located only 7 km from Jelsa at an altitude of 350 m. This former pastoral settlement today remains a true oasis of peace and beauty. The stone buildings of Konoba Humac blend perfectly with the surrounding cottages, sharing their tranquil atmosphere.
Among the wide selection of autochthonous specialities, we recommend dishes prepared in the baking bell (peka), which are specific to this area. Delicious lamb that melts in the mouth, and other meat dishes stand out as well. For seafood lovers, we recommend octopus and fresh grilled fish meals. Home-produced wine and delicious, healthy vegetables from organic farming are what make our cuisine top quality!
The restaurant is an ideal place to relax from the hectic pressures of normal life. It is a perfect place for families with children, who can enjoy playing in our beautiful outdoor areas. The restaurant courtyard is adorned with unique stone tables, and the views from the restaurant are spectacular. Watching the setting sun is a special experience. As there is no electricity in the village, when darkness falls, the restaurant is lit by lanterns, creating a magical atmosphere.
There is also an indoor eating area in the rare case of bad weather.
