Restaurant Bonaca is located next to ACI marine in a romantic bay in Vrboska. Vrboska, also known as Little Venice, is a real treasure trove of beautiful architecture and small bridges.
Bonaca, which in dalmatian dialect means ‘calm sea’, is the right place to taste various dishes.
As a young married couple, we opened our restaurant in 2008 with the desire to make the food and service that will satisfy each guest.
The owner is also the head chef, and the wife and friendly staff are always at your disposal.
Our specialties are fresh fish prepared like gregada and brujet – both traditional dalmatian fish stews, delicious lamb and a traditional octopus prepared in a baking lid that you must try! Pasta with lobster, shrimp and mussels stew will enchant every seafood lover. For all gourmets, there are various grilled meat dishes.
After each meal, we recommend trying a traditional dessert Hvar’s rožata, carob cake or a delicious, refreshing lemon cake.
We are especially proud that the wine and olive oil that complements each meal comes from our vineyards and olive gardens. It is especially important for us to recognize the quality of domestic organic farming and place the best quality.
Apart from a la carte, we organize weddings, baptisms, communions, and catering services.
