JELSA – INSECT SPRAYING 29/07/2026
WARNING: Killing more pollinators! Jelsa and surrounding areas including Sveta Nedjelja will be sprayed with insect-killing poisons on Wednesday 29th July from 22:30 to 04:00 on Thursday 30th July 2026. The poisons used are dangerous to animals, especially cats, also to humans.
STAY OFF THE STREETS, CLOSE WINDOWS AND SHUTTERS, KEEP PETS INDOORS IF POSSIBLE. BEEKEEPERS SHOULD CLOSE THEIR HIVES
STARI GRAD 30/07/2026.
WARNING: Stari Grad and surrounding areas will be sprayed with insect-killing poisons on Thursday 30th July 2026 from 23:00 to 04:00 (Thursday night to Friday morning)
HVAR TOWN 31/07/2026
WARNING: Hvar Town and surrounding areas will be sprayed with insect-killing poisons on Friday 31st July 2026 from 01:00 – 04:00, (apparently simultaneously with insect spraying around Stari Grad!). Sveta Nedjelja is included, although it is also listed for spraying together with the Jelsa Municipality (see above).
