The best of Hvar!

Hvar wines are famous far and wide, as is the island which, preserving traditional grape varieties along with the island’s designation as Dalmatia’s sunniest, produces top-class wines.

The well-known project for identifying the ‘Stars of Wine’, now in its fourth successive year, in collaboration with the Hvar Wine Association and the Jelsa Municipal Tourist Board is this year organizing an evaluation of Hvar wines with the emphasis on South Croatia’s indigenous grape varieties.

As we want to share the delights of wine tasting with Hvar wine enthusiasts who were not able to come to the summer Wine Festival, as well as presenting certificates for the best of the wines – the best will come to Zagreb, where there will be a presentation of some 15 Hvar wines which were judged the best at the 4th Jelsa Summer Wine Tasting, accompanied by refreshments prepared by the chefs from the Trilogija Fino & vino restaurant.
