Traditional wooden boats with lateen sails
The small fishing village of Vrboska has a proud heritage of fishing and shipbuilding. Traditional wooden boats with lateen sails are a special experience for the locals, as well as for guests. The Lantina Association holds its annual summer regatta together with workshops in Vrboska in honour of St. Peter’s Day, which falls at the end of June.
The ‘Lantina Association’, based in Vrboska, is dedicated to preserving the style of Hvar’s age-old traditional wooden boats.
