FIRE BAN IN OPEN AREAS
Starting from June 1st until October 1st 2026, a ban on lighting fires in open areas is in effect, in accordance with current fire protection regulations.
The ban includes:
- lighting fires in nature (forests, meadows, agricultural land),
- using barbecues outside of designated and properly equipped areas,
- burning plant waste and weeds,
- using pyrotechnics near forests or other flammable areas.
We urge all residents and visitors to comply with this measure to protect people, property, and nature from the risk of wildfires. If you notice smoke or fire, immediately call 193 or 112.
Thank you for your understanding and responsible behaviour.
Note: There are punishments of fines and in some cases even imprisonment for causing fires, whether deliberately or through carelessness. Failure to report a fire is also subject to a fine.
