Parish Church of St. George, Gdinj
The parish church of St. George is among the newer sacral buildings on the island of Hvar, and was built in 1901 on the site of the old church of Our Lady of Health (formerly the church of St. George), which according to records dates back to the 16th century. This neo-style building is located right on the edge of the main road that runs through the village of Gdinj, surrounded by cypresses and pine trees.
The church contains two altars, several statues, oil paintings, and also objects from the old church of St. George.
