New Delights on Hvar Island!
The footpath from the Grabac Cave to Humac has been restored:
✔️ The path has been repaired and widened
✔️ There is a new belvedere viewpoint looking over Korčula, Pelješac and Šćedro
✔️ There are benches to rest on, as well as information plaques
The project to restore the path between the Grabac Cave and the village of Humac has been made possible because the Jelsa Municipality Tourist Board was awarded funding to the tune of 20,000 € through bidding in a promotional competition for selected types of tourism in the Split-Dalmatian County. This project adds to the wealth of attractions in Jelsa, enhancing active and cultural tourism by offering visitors unique enjoyment of Hvar Island’s natural environment and heritage.

The project to restore the footpath from the Grabac Cave to the village of Humac was conceived with the aim of improving access and safety in these beautiful places and so expanding the attractions on offer to visitors. The funding allowed for all the works, which included mending the existing path and providing the new belvedere viewpoint, benches and information signposts.
Restoring the path to make it safer and easier to walk on is a definite asset in Jelsa’s tourist attractions. While promoting the natural and cultural value of Humac and the Grabac Cave, it places a particular emphasis on cultural tourism. Visitors now have much improved conditions for hiking, rambling and exploring the Grabac Cave, Humac and the surrounding areas.
Come and visit: set out for a walk and enjoy a connexion between Nature, history and scenic views which truly takes the breath away! 💚✨
