Kalina, Restaurant and café-bar

Kalina is a family restaurant located in the heart of Jelsa with a real Mediterranean ambience and spirit. The Božiković family has been engaged in agriculture and tourism for many years. After many years of working with guests at their family house, the family decided to expand their business and open the Kalina restaurant.

We have a wide selection of dishes; if you like fish or fresh seafood, the menu includes sea bass, sea bream, the famous Dalmatian gregada, filled squid, fresh grilled shrimp, mussels, or risotto with shrimp.

There are also various meat delicacies. For a delicious, mouth-watering meal, we suggest steak, veal, mixed meat platter or grilled chicken. You will be delighted by the richness of taste since all our dishes are prepared with great care, in a traditional way.

A glass of good wine goes perfectly with either a hot or cold meal. We offer a large selection of local, Hvar wines, highly prized in our beautiful country. Our terrace has a wonderful view over the harbour and is a perfect place for relaxing on a warm summer’s night.
