OPG “Rubin“

OPG “Rubin” is located in Jelsa on the island of Hvar, and is mostly known for its owner, Juraj Rubin, who is known as a golden oilman, a good winegrower and one of the best beekeepers.

Juraj Rubin is a man with a great will to work and numerous awards that he has received over many years of activity, whether it is olive growing and oil processing, growing vineyards or beekeeping. OPG Rubin is specialized in production of high-quality virgin olive oil, wine and prestige honey.

In addition to oil mills, olive groves and vineyards, they take care of the apiary with 200 bee communities and they are one of the largest producers of honey, exclusively made from the flowers of plants from the island of Brač: sage, lavender, rosemary and mixed herbs. The family is also engaged in tourism, more precisely by providing accommodation services. Guests who spend time with the Rubin family have the opportunity to enjoy all the specialties made by Juraj Rubin, from preparations of grapes, honey, olives to olive oil.

The oldest member of the family is mother Nikolina, then wife Nevenka, daughter Andriana and son-in-law Nikica. All together they are responsible for this success of the family, and the quality and range of products are the best evidence of that. It is certainly important to note that Juraj has no problems with the placement of his products, especially honey and oil, because they are very healthy and high-quality products. The Rubin family’s products travel throughout Croatia and beyond.
