Restaurant ‘Davor’

In Zavala, on the southern slopes of our beautiful Island of Hvar, the family restaurant ‘Davor’ found its perfect location that offers an enchanting view of the blue sea and the nearby island of Šćedro. It is a family restaurant that makes traditional dishes served in a simple, modern way.

The specialty of the restaurant is the so-called lešoda, or to make it clearer, delicious – boiled (lešo) fish, a famous traditional Dalmatian dish. It’s a strong, healthy, Mediterranean meal that comes perfect with a drop of olive oil.

The menu also offers several surprises such as a traditional Pitve cake and a delicious rožata topped with caramel sauce. Many grilled meat dishes, with the addition of homemade gnocchi are the right choice for all gourmets.

Fans of fast food will be delighted by our various pizza choices prepared in baker’s oven, or arugula gnocchi with truffles. Various types of pasta will delight every guest.

The wine list is filled with various wines of our local winemakers (there is also an excellent selection of wines from other regions of our beautiful country). For our youngest visitors there is fresh lemonade.

The restaurant’s covered terrace has 80 seats, while the very modern interior has a capacity of 16 seats.
